Welcome to R3 - Breathwork and Beyond. I'm so happy that you're here! Empowering others to health and wellness is my passion. My journey with holistic healing began in 2001 when I attended my first Pilates class. I've never looked back.

 

My recent endeavor with Breathwork has unlocked an entirely new approach to healing. It is simple, yet complex. Calming, yet intense. 

​

The idea of creating a Breathwork community for healing and transformation goes beyond the breath. R3 is taking this to a soul level.

Changing false narratives that exist, recognizing and removing blocked emotions and encouraging a richness in life that is meant to be explored.

My vision is to create a vast space of MIND + BODY + SOUL balancing. And it begins here, with R3.​​

What is Breathwork

Although breathwork dates back thousands of years, it is a powerful healing modality that continues to offer both emotional and physical benefits with modern day practices.  Breathwork is the exercise of consciously controlling the breath as a therapeutic technique. It is easily accessible, calms the nervous system and helps to anchor you into the present moment.

When you breathe deeply, you bring oxygen into your body and brain. This calms the systems 'fight or flight' response.

Reduce Stress

Deep breathing techniques activate the parasympathetic nervous system, which controls relaxation and promotes stress reduction.

Release Toxins

Breathwork helps to reduce toxins in the body by increasing the circulation of oxygen-rich blood throughout. This allows the body to flush out toxins that have built up.

Increase Energy

By breathing mindfully, you increase oxygenation and improve your overall well-being. Energizing breathwork circulates positive energy which can enhance your mood and boost your energy.

Challenge Thought Patterns

When we get too deep in our own heads, negative thoughts can quickly arise. Breathwork can bring you back to the present moment and break the negative thought cycle.

Improve Focus

Paced breathing allows you to focus attention and regulate the nervous system.

Breathwork Techniques

Diaphragmatic Breathing is a technique that involves breathing deeply and slowly by using the diaphragm and abdominal muscles. It is performed seated or lying down. Take an inhale in through the nose for 2 count and exhale through the mouth for one count. The stomach should expand on the inhale and collapse on the exhale. There will be holds at the end of each round. Each round is between 2 and 3 minutes long.

Diaphragmatic Breathing can reduce stress and anxiety, relieve tension, improve oxygen levels and lower heart rate.

Breath is Life.  R3 offers a diverse approach to Breathwork. We can facilitate sessions at your place of business, home, private events and various other gatherings. We offer individual, personalized sessions for a tailored experience or you can choose from one of our Breathwork packages.

01. Breathwork for Business

Let us come to you. Give yourself permission to Practice the Pause. These 50 minute sessions were designed to meet you where you are at. To offer you an opportunity to re-focus, re-align and re-energize. Breath is a tool that we all have access to. We would be honored to guide you through the process. This session will focus on Diaphragmatic Breathing which is a beneficial belly breathing technique to enhance awareness, reduce stress and boost your energy, Soulful Breathing and Ujjayi Breath, often called your Victorious Breath.

02. Breaking Barriers

There's no time like the present time to connect with your truest self. What is the story you have created in your mind's eye? Does it align with this chapter of life? Are you inspired to do your soul work? By breaking down barriers with guided Breathwork, you have the ability to access those places within that hold onto false narratives. This offers you the opportunity to recognize, honor and release. Breathwork facilitates a deeper connection to oneself, opening space for you to tap into your fullest potential and release what no longer serves you. We will offer Soulful Breathing and Cosmic Breathing techniques, alongside the powerful Ujjayi Breath and Belly-Chest Breathwork.

03. Changing the Narrative

Let's shed some light to the shadow work around abundance.  Changing the Narrative Breathwork sessions offers an opportunity to look at your relationship around finances. You are worthy. You are deserving. You are educated. You are capable of creating security and generational richness for yourself and your loved ones. These focused Breathwork sessions will help to build your confidence and master your emotions around blockages that may be holding you back from receiving all that you deserve. We will offer Box Breathing, Belly-Chest Breathwork, as well as the powerful and Ujjayi Breath.

04. Just Be

How often do you allow yourself to Just Be...

Life can be a bit hectic with the everyday hustle. These sessions were designed to help you connect back to your Breath, the essence of life. When we are able to Just Be, we can quiet our thoughts, focus our minds and regulate our nervous system. Coming from a place of calm allows us to give and receive with an open heart. Focusing on the cadence of Breath can be therapeutic, MIND + BODY + SOUL. We will offer Rythmic, 4-7-8 and Ujjayi Breathwork during these sessions.

05. Journey Through the Chakras

As we embark on this Journey Through the Chakras, we will stimulate the flow of energy, releasing any blockages and restoring balance to the Chakras. The Chakras are activated through a guided Diaphragmatic Breathing technique. This guided practice will allow us to cultivate the awareness of the Breath and channel the energy throughout the body. We will offer a Mindul Movement sequence that will foster a sense of wholeness and alignment as a holistic approach to Chakra balancing.
